Finding the pattern of health, together
A movement to reconnect specialists, generalists, and patients, turning curiosity into care and truth into prevention.
Why CuroVia Exists
CuroVia was born from a moment when everything stopped —
when science, chance, and grief collided, and the illusion of certainty fell apart.
Deciding whether your to be born daugther should live or die.
Out of that experience came one question: Who truly knows, and how can the rest of us know too?
We are building an open, global conversation between specialists, generalists, and patients.
Not another medical platform — a movement to make truth collaborative,
to bring evidence to life, and to give prevention the same respect as cure.
Health isn’t a straight line. It’s a living pattern — shaped by biology, mind, action and meaning.

Skiing @91yrs old?
A patient like no other. A pilot, teacher, sailor. Small, but mighty smart and loves to provoke. When his children were born, he promised himself to keep up. Same thing happened when his first grand child was born. Started programming age 70 some 25+yrs ago. Listen to what it takes to shift your mind, do things and stay healthy. Are you sure you want this?
At the Heart of Health?
A bright cardiologist. Worked his way up to be a world-reknowned professor in his field only to hear his mentor stating “I probably saved around 3000 lives, but if I would have worked on prevention, I could have saved a country instead of a small town”. It left a scar and opened a world of opportunity to truly make impact beyond what just one person is normally capable of. Starting the first virtual Preventive Medicine University in the world.

Behind CuroVia
Founded by Peter Delva and Sammy Haillez — two entrepreneurs with a shared belief that
technology should serve humanity, not replace it.
From corporate innovation to healthcare transformation, their mission is simple:
build trust, reduce noise, and bring evidence-based prevention to everyone.
Peter Delva (CEO)
Ms. Sc. Aerospace ir. (TUDelft). Although both parents are highly technical, he has a deep rooted love for people. Tech is fairly easy, but energy flows from connecting people and helping out. He doesn’t want to put a dent in the world, no. He wants to leave the world a better place.
Deciding over the life or death of their daughter, 7 years later he found his purpose in life: using his skills to uncover the truth in health where it matters most: prevention.
He loves sports and has a wide experience in different sports. Started rollerskating age 3, windsurfing age 4, knows how to play tennis rolschaatst van z’n 3 jaar, windsurfen van z’n 4jr, kan tennis, horseback riding, golf, loves snowboarding in powder, skiing and regatta sailing. Has been an icehockey coach (in Belgium = no big deal), but stopped because of injuries. Oh, and always in search for more to learn.
Sammy Haillez (CTO)
Bach. International Entrepreneurship. If you wouldn’t know, you’d think he has a couple of PhD’s mixed with streetsmart and fun. He works very hard and has the brain of an engineer. He breathes data and tech and hates standing still or doing stupid stuff. It’s his arch nemesis. Although he likes to think things through for a moment, he’s a man of action. No talking, but trying and proving. His AI experience from Colruyt (FMCG retail) makes him the perfect techie.
But it’s as a co-founder he excells. He’s strong, tactical and delicate enough to call Peter out on strategy and tactics going the wrong direction. Always direct, to the point and chrystal clear. Never stupid and with the vision in mind. And if I might not act on it, he’ll repeat it. A dream to build a company with.
He can lift weights like a bear and loves competition, but prefers a friendly round of golf now.
